Each year a magnificent concours takes place at the Villa D'Este at lake Como in Italy.

There are 2 main competitions, one for classic cars and the other for prototypes.

Artists are invited prior to the coming years event to paint a picture to be used for publicity material and this artwork has to include the two winning cars from the previous year.

I was invited to submit a piece of artwork for this competition and here it is in all its glory, showing the Ferrari 410 Superamerica and Alfa Romeo Spider.

Sadly I didn't win but it was an honour to take part.

The artwork, in watercolour is A1 in size and is now available for purchase at a cost of £1200
