He gained his first commission in 1978 and has since then received work from around the globe covering many of the major marques, from modern to vintage.
Malcolm has completed work for Ferrari owners club members since 1982 and his work has appeared in their club magazine and in Ferrari World Magazine.
Malcolm has also completed many works for the Porsche Owners club members since the late 90's In the last few years an increasing number of commissions have been requested on non car related subjects, including trams, buses, trolleybuses and canal based. Malcolm has over recent years in addition to automotive subjects produced scenic watercolours of places around the world and is now producing full scenes in addition to the illustrative type images. In the early 2000's Malcolm was an Associate Member of the Guild of Motoring Artists.
Update 7th August 2019.
I submitted an application to the Guild of Railway Artists earlier this month to their quarterly meeting. 7 photographs were submitted for review. The process being that the panel look at the photographs and then if in their opinion if they deem the standard high enough they then ask me to attend the next meeting to present the original paintings. I am pleased to say that they have informed me that my application is likely to succeed and have asked for me to attend their next meeting with my originals.
